A very warm greeting from Indian Institute of Information Technology, Nagpur.
I, Dr. O.G. Kakde, am fortunate to have an opportunity to get associated with IIIT, Nagpur as its Founder Director. I joined this coveted Institution of National Importance on 26th June 2018 and have witnessed its phenomenal growth since then.
When I look back, I could see the transformation happened in last few years from the humble start of IIIT, Nagpur in the Makeshift Campus to state-of-the-art sprawling 100 Acres Permanent Campus consisting of Air-Conditioned Class Rooms & Laboratories and soothing exteriors. It is true that full development of the campus is a long process and will take time. But I hope that in next few years the Campus shall be rated at par with any other Centrally Funded Institution.
From meagre 48 students in 2016-17 to more than 1400 students in 2022-23 and expected strength of 1800 students in 2023-24, the Institute has come a long way. The popularity of IIIT, Nagpur Read More...
